(IntelHub) – In a time when very few experts speak out against the official line, nuclear expert Arnie Gundersen has been an outspoken critic of the cover up of the Fukushima nuclear disaster.

Speaking to Russia Today, Gundersen was quoted as saying that Japanese officials have taken part in a gross miscarriage of radiation science by not evacuating children and pregnant mothers from areas that have been clearly devastated by the high levels of radiation released from the tsunami stricken Fukushima nuclear power plant.

Arnie also stated that the plan to cover the reactors in a protective shield will not work due to the fact that a lot of the radiation is leaking down into the ground water. Putting a cap on the reactors will not stop the radiation that is seeping downwards.

Meanwhile, Strontium89 has been detected in milk samples from Hilo Hawaii according to samples released by the Environmental Protection Agency.

“We have completed our first strontium milk sample analysis and found trace amounts of strontium-89 in a milk sample from Hilo, Hawaii. The level was approximately 27,000 times below the Derived Intervention Level set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration,” EPA said in a statement emailed toForbes blogger Jeff McMahon yesterday afternoon.

As we have reported in the past, many have questioned why plutonium and strontium tests were previously not released to the public until multiple bloggers accessed the back end of the EPA Radnet tests and made their findings public.

The cover up of this disaster has been criminal and all the more confusing due to the fact that most people have either labeled this disaster a non issue or a worldwide cataclysmic event when in reality it lays somewhere in between.
