Israeli Uses WMD Publicity Stunt To Incite War In Syria

Israel is now claiming Syria is using chemical weapons against woman and children to justify military intervention in Syria.

Despite repeated lies and propaganda attempts by the corporate media they just can’t gather public support to back military intervention in Syria.

The military deception campaign began by claiming Syria was attacking and killing peaceful protestors.

Those ‘peaceful protestors’ and ‘activists’ have been outed as terrorists, including Al-Qaeda operatives operating under UN protection, that have been hired by U.S.allies and are receiving weapons and funding from US allies .

The media has continue to portray the violence in Syria as a one-sided assault by a brutal regime attacking innocent civilians when report after report is debunked as propaganda and outright lies.

Despite the propaganda campaign the public just isn’t buying it and as CNN reported just days an overwhelming majority on both sides of the political spectrum oppose military intervention in Syria.

When all else fails play the Weapons of Mass Destruction card.

It’s a time-tested tactic tried and true and that is exactly what Israel is doing now.

Press TV reports:

Israel engages in publicity stunt to encourage military intervention in Syria

Israel has engaged in a publicity stunt against the Syrian government in an apparent move to promote military intervention in the Arab country

Press TV – In the latest anti-Damascus move, Ayoob Kara, a senior member of the Israeli Likud Party led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, claimed in an interview with Israel Radio on June 9 that the Syrian government has used “chemical weapons against men, women, and children” during the past months of unrest in the country.

However, recent reports indicated that the armed groups fighting against the Syrian government have found access to and plan to use chemical weapons, acquired from Libya. According to a June 10 report by Russia Today, the armed rebels plan to use the chemical weapons against civilians and then attempt to blame Damascus for the atrocity.

Kara also claimed that Israeli doctors along the Turkey-Syria border are treating injured Syrians.

Meanwhile, Israeli President Shimon Peres on Sunday expressed support for the Syrian rebels.

On June 3, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said in a televised address to the parliament that Syria is “facing a war from abroad.”

He also stated that the political process in the country is “moving forward, yet terrorism is not going down.”

Syria has been experiencing unrest since mid-March 2011. Many people, including security forces, have been killed in the unrest.
