Egypt Foils Two ISIS Assassination Plots After Muslim Brotherhood Calls For Overthrow

Less than one month after the Muslim Brotherhood vowed called for revolution to overthrow Egypt, two ISIS-linked assassination attempts on President Sisi have been foiled.

Yesterday HNN reported on Twitter choosing to give the Muslim Brotherhood verified status on their Twitter account despite calls for overthrow the government of Egypt stating their number one goal was to “re-establish Egypt’s identity: Islamic and Arab.”

Twitter verified this account while purging conservative users users from the site claiming they were too radical.

Today we learn that Egypt has foiled to two ISIS-linked assassination attempts on President Sisi with one of the plots also targeting Saudi Arabia’s crown prince.

As reported yesterday:

Twitter Verifies Muslim Brotherhood Account After Purging Conservatives

Twitter just as official Muslim Brotherhood account “Jihad is our way” but conservatives are purged. Let this sink in.

Not only have conservative accounts been purged on Twitter, numerous social networks and the corporate media have launched a campaign to smear numerous conservative websites as being fake news and are making platform changes to censor their free speech and economically disable their sites.

While Liberals claim Muslim Brotherhood is not a terror group, they certainly once were.

They may have been removed but just take a look at the Muslim Brotherhood’s continued promise to overthrow the current Egyptian government and their official statement on Egypt just a few days ago.

Just one such tweet from this verified account an open call for revolution to continue down the path of revolution and overthrow the government of Egypt.

Because matter what “Fake News” the corporate media tells you their latest press release on Egypt reads “the Muslim Brotherhood – true to its long history, and the martyrs and detainees, says once again that it will not let the people down.”

It then goals on to outline their goals and state their and their number on goal is to “re-establish Egypt’s identity: Islamic and Arab.”

In typical Orwellian doublespeak fashion, the release discusses restoring religious freedoms which is really the exact opposite as Sharia law supported by the Muslim Brotherhood has no tolerance for any other religion or culture except radical Islamic Jihad.

Today from Foreign Desk News:

Egypt thwarts two ISIS-linked assassination attempts on President Sisi

Security forces in Egypt have thwarted two assassination attempts on the country’s President Abdel Fatah Al Sisi.

Egyptian police have successfully dismantled a network of 22 terror cells, spanning almost 300 fighters, with links to the Islamic State terror group, Nabil Sadek, the country’s Prosecutor General revealed Sunday.

One hundred and fifty one suspects are in custody and have been referred to the country’s military court. Authorities believe they belong to Al Wilayat Sinai, the Sinai affiliate of the Islamic State.

According to investigators, the first foiled plot included a joint effort by terror cells operating in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. There was an attempt to murder Sisi during a visit to Saudi Arabia in 2014, when he embarked on a pilgrimage to the Islamic holy site of Mecca.

In a separate plot, six former police officers and a dentist whose role remains unclear, planned an attack on Sisi’s presidential convoy as it traveled through Cairo.

The men were formerly members of the “I Am a Bearded Police Officer” coalition, a group of police officers who in 2012 grew beards as a sign of faithfulness to the Prophet Muhammad.

According to authorities, the group collaborated with ISIS’ Egypt affiliate to murder Sisi, referring to the country’s president and judiciary as “kuffar,” a derogatory term typically used to describe the non-believer.

With Obama leaving office, it might be a prudent time to reverse the decision to remove the Muslim Brotherhood from the list of known terrorist groups.
