About

I found that Alexander had another FB page and contacted him with what’s been happening. His wife replied in comments the following:

Hey Kevin, this is Alexander’s wife. We relocated after the storm after many failed attempts at making life work in Brick, NJ. He is good, working hard. Thank you for reaching out. Not sure where he stands on getting the site back up because everything has changed and we have been forced to do a 180. But overall, he is good. Thanks again!Hello Fellow Activists, Investigative Journalists and Truth Seekers.

Original About Post: Has anyone heard from Alexander Higgins at all the past year+? If so, please give us the details if possible. There are many people concerned who’d like to help, I guarantee it.

I can’t divulge my real name (aka Kevin Holder) at this point but I’m not Alexander Higgins obviously. As a matter of fact I tried contacting him many times the past year with no luck. However, I did manage to leave a message on his Google Voice number but never heard back. The only other phone number I had the mailbox is full.

Alexander actually kind of knows me. We weren’t super tight or anything but I commented on his blog frequently for a couple years and had many great conversations with him. If I mentioned something he would probably say, oh yeah I remember you.

My background: Activist throughout my college days and into my early 30’s. Travelled the country attending protests, marches and public hearings in support of mainly environmental, government/corporate fraud and human rights issues.

While camping across the country I learned a lot about our world and the amazing things people are capable of doing, and still do. I recently went on a pilgrimage to the Port Huron Nuclear Protest and it was a strange turning point. Something I thought of maybe 10 years back popped in my head while speaking with a First Nation Minister. The thought was “people go to Church to find God but I always thought that Nature was the Church and you’ll find God Everywhere.”

So everyone knows, I’m putting all of my own time and money to save as much of Alexander Higgins Blog as possible and continue to post new articles to keep it fresh. It’s not right to see all of this lost, it’s way too important historical information to leave to chance and get erased. I got lucky, and happened to look him up one day and saw his domain expired. I nearly crapped my pants and took action.

Urgent: “They” like the web, as all written history will be erased from the minds of the general population. That’s why we need to preserve this history like the Library of Congress. I admire archive.org but it’s too much power in one hands.

We’re hoping Alexander will be back soon and again if anyone knows what’s going on please let us know as much as possible. I’m sure there’s going to be critics, questions and hopefully some positivity. I do have a couple people working with me on this to get it back as soon as humanly possible.

We’re also working to update and repair all the site links to other folks work/news sites (so posts are findable) so people can find the articles they were looking for. Correcting URL’s to reproduce all the news reporting correctly over the past 8 years is the key and big challenge for us.

Again, if anyone knows anything please post a comment or send an email, strictly confidential of course or if necessary.

Regards, Kevin Holder
